Call for Recipes! Participate in the “Community Recipes Collection”

What would a food-focused literary festival be without a cookbook or two? As part of our work with the Fort Collins Book Fest: Food for Thought, the Library District is creating a local, “digital cookbook” that features favorite recipes from the community and stories around food.

Help us create this fun community collection by submitting your original recipes – we promise not to tell Mom that you shared her secret ingredients!

Local Author Discusses Debut Novel, Self-Publishing Journey

When Bikul Koirala was in ninth grade, he and his younger brother and older cousin decided they’d publish a children’s magazine and distribute it throughout their community and in local schools. It’s an ambitious undertaking on its own, but then the boys figured a first issue run of 1,000 print copies would be the perfect start!
