The Library District is committed to the health and safety of our customers and with helping disseminate information, especially in times of emergencies. We've set up this page as a resource to help you find reliable and up-to-date information from local, state, and national perspectives about the recent coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
As new information emerges about COVID-19, it is important to remember that diseases can make anyone sick regardless of their race, ethnicity, or nationality. The Library District will work to provide accurate information regarding COVID-19 and will confront misinformation that stigmatizes or characterizes any person or group in a discriminatory manner.
Federal, state, and local public health officials are closely monitoring an outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus (named "COVID-19") that was first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China and which continues to expand and evolve rapidly. The risk to most people in Larimer County and Colorado is low at this time.
